A WINCHESTER plumber has gone viral after posting a video of him accidentally letting a cat out of a house.
Scott Mckendry shared the video on Facebook on February 3.
The two-minute clip, recorded by a Ring doorbell camera, shows Scott attempting to pick up and return the cat, Bertie, to the property after he believed he had accidentally let the feline out.

However, it turns out that the plumber had picked up the wrong cat by mistake, adding a twist to the tale.
Scott, of Mckendry Plumbing and Heating, told the Chronicle: “I had told a few people and they all laughed about it and everyone was saying ‘You just have to ask for the Ring doorbell footage’. I posted it on Fb and it has gone mad since, I didn't think too much of it to be honest!”
In the post on Facebook, the plumber wrote: “Plumber Vs Bertie the cat - I had to share this incident captured by the customers Ring doorbell. My instructions were to not let the cat outside under any circumstances, then oh no, he's out and I don't want to be the "plumber that lost the cat".
“There was a twist in the tail -bloody look alike cats!”
