Two applications were refused by Winchester City Council planning officers this week. 

In Micheldever, Graham and Jane Milsome had a lawful development certificate refused for the use of an annex as a single dwelling for self-contained letting purposes. This was at  Dunley, Vicarage Lane.

Edward and Richard Bastian had an application refused for the re-profiling and landscaping works with site drainage improvements to allow increased equine use of land, at  Fairthorne Grange Farm, Botley Road in Curbridge.

All other applications were permitted. 

In Compton, Salma Rashid can have a loft conversion with new roof and a garage conversion at Norlands, Otterbourne Road.

Mr and Mrs Page had an application permitted for a loft conversion to include rear dormer for bedroom, en-suite and dressing area at 3 Broadview Close, Kings Worthy.

Mr and Mrs Finch can have solar panels on an existing garage roof at Waterside Cottage, Bilberry Lane.

In Winchester, Cala had an application permitted for Phase 2B of Kings Barton in Andover Road. This includes 192 dwellings and associated infrastructure, public open space including equipped play areas and enhanced recreational ground to the north of Phase 1B. The application also includes the public realm, infrastructure and access to the various mixed uses within the Neighbourhood Centre.

An applicant called Russell can have alterations and additions to the existing detached house to include two double-storey first floor extensions to provide additional living accommodation; and associated hard and soft landscaping works. This is at 20 Bereweeke Avenue. 

Peninsula Homes (Southern) Limited had an application permitted for a reconfigured car park layout along with boundary treatment and bin store at Wyeth House, 21A Hyde Street.

Jonathan Hicks can have a rear single storey infill extension to replace existing; clad rear walls with external wall insulation finished in render; extend rear roofs (eaves and verge) to provide cover for new EWI; raise main roof by 30 mm vertically; and have new glazing including two skylights at 16 St Catherines Road.
