THE Romsey and Waterside Lions Club recently donated £250 to a youth charity.
Youth in Romsey, based at the Romsey Rapids complex, has for many years supported young people in the town and surrounding areas.
It helps on issues including counselling, employment, education, financial help, sexual health and mental health.
The mission statement of the charity is to: "Support children and young people at times when they need it most."
The cheque was handed over by lions club president Andrew Trowbridge to Wendy Herbert from the charity.
