Allan Pickering, head of Goadsby Hampshire Commercial, said: “We now have three long-term tenants in place including the welcome addition of Screwfix that will provide business supplies to local people and businesses.
“Screwfix have approximately 1,726 stores across the UK and has been taking on smaller stores to service the areas in between larger towns. The unit extends to 2,938 sq ft and has been taken on a new 10-year lease.”
John Mewett, Screwfix CEO, said last year: “The ongoing expansion of our network ensures we continue to bring Screwfix ever closer to our customers.

“In response to sustained demand from tradespeople across the UK, Republic of Ireland and France, we have accelerated our store opening programme so that our customers are always near a Screwfix store.
"We know that time is money for our customers, and we understand how much they value convenience, so they can get what they need and get back to the job."
Winchester City Council built the industrial estate speculatively and was able to accommodate the fire service while its new station was built.
