A HAMPSHIRE village choir has donated more than £300 to Winchester Hospice after its latest concert.
The Itchen Valley Choir was originally formed in 1922 and more than 100 years later has moved from its first choir practice in the front room of a private house in Easton to the Itchen Abbas and Avington Village Hall.
It was there that 34 mixed voice singers, under conductor Jane Bryant, gave a December Christmas fun concert.
They raised £350 and members were unanimous in wanting to donate to the Winchester Hospice.
