MORE than 800 people started the new year with a five-mile fun run around Broadlands.
In freezing conditions, 884 people were at the historical estate just outside Romsey on Sunday, January 21.
The course was three laps of the estate and one of the flattest five-mile races in Hampshire.

The kids' race was back, which was just 2km and one lap of the estate.
Photos from the event show crates of cupcakes, waiting for the hungry runners.
The event was won by David Healey of Lordshill Road Runners, who finished in 26 minutes and three seconds.
