A CAFÉ and bar in Winchester city centre is launching a men’s hub to help boost mental wellbeing.

Cabinet Rooms, in Jewry Street, is hosting three workshops with charity Beyond Equality to help men better support themselves and one another.

Gary Whiter, managing director of Cabinet Rooms, said: "We’ve always aimed to create a safe and inclusive space so we're thrilled to host these unique events. The series of wellbeing workshops will be run by a facilitator from Beyond Equality, supported by the charity Movember.

“Beyond Equality is doing some amazing work at tackling toxic masculinity and generally rethinking masculinity. Our workshops are aimed at any men who might benefit from being able to speak openly and freely in a safe, non-judgemental environment. Hopefully, chaps who come along will pick up useful tools to support their own wellbeing and the wellbeing of their friends, creating something of a support network along the way."
