A WINCHESTER sweet business is expanding to a former second-hand fashion shop in the city centre.
The Old Fashioned Sweetie Shop is opening a second outlet in Upper Brook Street, filling the vacant Bella Ling unit.
The store, currently based at the top of the High Street, has been open for more than a decade and stocks a mix of traditional and modern treats from boiled sweets and jellies to liquorice and fudge.

The former luxury second-hand fashion shop, opposite The Brooks Shopping Centre, has been left empty since Bella Ling relocated to London.
Commercial estate agency, Goadsby, was delighted to announce the sale. Staff member Natalie Kyle said: “It is positive to see continued demand for retail space in Winchester. 11-13 Upper Brook Street will be a great addition to the Old Fashioned Sweetie shop’s current unit at 62 High Street, Winchester and I wish the new occupier every success at the property.”
Goadsby confirmed that the business is keeping both shops open.
