TWO bikes were stolen in the early hours of Sunday morning from a village in the Meon Valley.
Winchester Police officers are appealing for witnesses and more information following a burglary between midnight and 7am on Sunday, January 21 in Swanmore.
A Giant Defy and Boardman bike were stolen from a home in Chapel Road after the garage was forced open.
Winchester Police posted on Facebook: “Were you in the area at the time? Did you see anything suspicious?
“Do you have any Dashcam or doorbell camera footage that may assist our investigation? Have you been offered any bikes, in particular a Giant Defy bike or a Boardman?
“If so, please contact 101, quoting the reference number 44240029877. You can also report online via the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police website or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
A spokesman for Hampshire Police said: "We are following a number of lines of enquiry."
