JUST when Southern Water thought it had sorted problems in Winchester another one comes along.
A water leak in the city centre is causing traffic chaos on the one-way system in St George's Street.
It comes after the company has been battling for a week to restore water supplies to hundreds of homes after a failure at its works in Easton. Households in Kings Worthy have been without water as well as homes across the city.
The company said this morning that all supplies had been restored, just after Kings' School announced it was closing for the day because it was without water.
Workers from Southern Water are at the scene in St George's Street and are attempting to solve the issue.

In St George's Street, workers have had to park their van on the road to deal with the leak, meaning that motorists are having to slow down to pass and causing delays on the one-way system.
According to Hampshire County Council Highways, the leak has been caused by a burst pipe, and remedial works are underway to repair it. The work is estimated to be completed by Monday, January 22.

It is not currently known how many properties are affected by the leak.
A Southern Water spokesperson said that the water leak is unrelated to the issues at Easton Water Supply Works.
They said: "We were made aware of an urgent leak reported this morning. We have traffic management in place for safety and are working to repair it as quickly as possible."
