A WINCHESTER dog photographer recently raised £600 for charity with a dog portrait day.
Diane Gollowitzer, of Dogs in Focus Photography, donated the funds to the Eastleigh fundraising group for Guide Dogs.
The sessions were 20 minutes and 100 per cent of the £80 fee was given to Guide Dogs, previously known as Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Diane photographed eight puppies on Saturday, January 13. She said: “I've always been passionate about working dogs, and working dogs who make a person's life easier are especially close to my heart. Guide Dogs are not only their partner's best friends, they are giving their life back by helping them with tasks that we take for granted. I'm very thankful to Guide Dogs, especially for Shona Pickering and David Herbert, for helping me organise this event.”
A Guide Dogs spokesman said: “We are really grateful to Diane for holding these photography sessions. We rely on donations to continue our life-changing work. Every hour, someone in the UK starts to lose their sight and this kind support will allow us to continue to make a vital difference to the lives of people with sight loss.”
