On the third Thursday of every month The Nutshell, in Kings Walk, will host an evening of jazz.
In partnership with Winchester Jazz Festival, The Nutshell Jazz Club will welcome some of the best musicians from across Europe.
On Thursday, January 18, they will welcome the line up of award-winning Alex Western-King Quartet, which consists of a tenor saxophonist, double bass, drums and pianist.

The event will start at 8pm with doors opening at 7pm, and tickets cost £18.
Proven Slice will be serving pizza at 7pm from their van in the courtyard, which can be pre-ordered.
These new evenings of jazz, food and drink in a cabaret style setting will run until Thursday, May 16.
If evenings are tricky because of childcare, The Nutshell will also be offering Jazzbops at 11.30am. This is a jazz club suitable for adults and children from the age of one to four, with a ticket price of £14.
