A HAMPSHIRE-based brewery had its beer on tap in the House of Commons bar over the New Year’s period.
Four Marks-based Triple fff Brewery’s Sundown Extra Pale Ale was the guest beer on sale in the Stranger’s Bar inside the Houses of Parliament during December.
It was available to purchase by those watching the New Year’s fireworks from the balcony overlooking the river Thames as the year came to an end.

Sundown (Extra Pale Ale) began life as “Coronation”, produced ahead of the coronation of King Charles before becoming a year-round stable for the brewery.
Xen Gladstone, Managing Director of Triple fff, said “We are honoured to be trusted with this high-profile time slot in the Stranger’s Bar and are extremely grateful to Damian Hinds for all his support.
“We are all about beer and simply hope everyone enjoys Sundown and that we can be back here again one day!”.
This was not the first time that a Triple fff beer had graced the Stranger’s Bar. In 2009, the brewery provided its Alton’s Pride beer for the bar, after it was named Supreme Champion Beer of Britain 2008.
