A WINCHESTER man has been fined for stealing from a high street shop.
Daniel Fox, of Hyde Gate, was caught stealing two bottles of champagne, to the value of £90, from Marks and Spencer on October 27 of last year.
Appearing before magistrates in Basingstoke on January 4, the 36-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence.
He must pay £90 compensation by February 1.
