A seven-year-old Hampshire schoolgirl and her New Forest pony trekked 100km for charity.
India Windell, from Wellow, walked across the stunning countryside around her home on Perry last summer in aid of the Bone Cancer Research Trust.
They have now released the total - an impressive £648.75.
The Embley School pupil embarked on the challenge after deciding she wanted to help others with a special fundraising mission.
India’s parents are long-term tenant farmers on the Broadlands Estate, Romsey which meant India and Perry were lucky enough to walk the entire challenge through the estate with stunning views of the world-renowned chalk stream the River Test along the way.
India said her favourite part of the challenge was picking and eating blackberries with Perry the pony while riding in the sunshine.
Ellie Windell, India’s mother, said: "Embley School shared the fundraiser on their Facebook page and mentioned India’s challenge to pupils and staff in their celebration assembly to help her achieve more generous donations.
"The achievement has had a huge impact on India, who is now looking for further fundraisers so she can help another charity and make a difference to others."
The Bone Cancer Research Trust is the charity that offers hope to people affected by primary bone cancer. They are the leading charity dedicated to fighting primary bone cancer and are uniquely placed to make a difference through research, information, awareness and support.
