A SUSTAINABLE fashionista and author has brought an upcycling workshop to Stockbridge.

Tash Bell held the workshop in the Meadow’s gallery space on the High Street.

Alongside the workshop, attendees also received a free copy of Tash’s book The Swish.

Aimed at inspiring young readers to get into sewing and thrifting, it tells the story of a ‘charity shop Cinderella’ who dares to make her own gown for the school Christmas Ball.

Speaking after the workshop, which was held on December 19 from 12noon to 1.30pm, Tash said that the workshop had been a big success, saying, “Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves.”

Sales of the book funds Tash’s fashion upcycling workshops for local youth charities and schools, including Naomi House, Winchester Young Carers and South Wilts Grammer School.
