Three applications were refused by Winchester City Council planning officers this week.
In Boarhunt, E Pearce had an application refused for a two-storey house following demolition of two existing buildings, at Springfield, Trampers Lane.
Mr Bowhill's application was refused for a new house with associated parking following demolition of existing garage and and covered open-fronted space. This was at 4 Court Road in Kings Worthy.
Mr Gannaway, in Shedfield, had an application refused for a pair of semi-detached two-bedroomed timber-clad holiday lodges, at Poplar Cottage, Solomons Lane.
All other applications were permitted.
In Bishop's Waltham, Gordon Chapman had an application permitted for a two storey rear and side extension at 12 St Swithun Close.
Wayne and Chloe Johnson's application was permitted for the demolition of an existing three-bedroom dwelling and construction of a replacement four-bedroom dwelling with swimming pool. This is at Silverhall, Southwick Road, North Boarhunt.
Jonathan Stackhouse's application for a detached incidental garden outbuilding at Fresh Fields, Bishopstoke Lane, in Brambridge, was permitted.
In Curdridge, Mr Carne had an application permitted for a two-bedroom dwelling, parking, landscaping and associated works following demolition and site clearance. This is on the land to the rear of Uplands Cottage, Botley Road.

Paul Reynolds had an application permitted for the demolition of car port and construction of extension to garage at Little Oaks, Lockhams Road.
Dan Atkinson's application was permitted for the conversion of existing ground floor garages into annexe accommodation at Calcot in Calcot Lane.
In Durley, Andrew Burton can have a two bed chalet style house with new access off highway, at Durley Brook Cottage, Durley Brook Road.
In Micheldever, Penelope Barber's application was permitted for a single storey rear extension and first floor dormer window to front elevation at The Seasons, Hawthorn Close.
An application without a name was permitted for a smoking shelter at Ignis House, Proxima Park, Houghton Avenue in Waterlooville.
Mr and Mrs Fox, in Oliver's Battery, had an application permitted for a single storey rear extension following removal of existing conservatory at Eaglewood House, 12 Seldon Close.
In Shedfield, Bailey Russell's application was permitted for open storage of equipment, machinery, vehicles, packaging and materials across the site. This is at Storage Yard, Oak Farm, Winchester Road.
Tom Carr can have a livestock building and handling area, straw shed, silage clamp and associated farm yard at Lye Heath Farm, Belney Lane in Southwick.
In Sparsholt, Matthew Jago had an application permitted for work at Sparsholt Manor, Woodman Lane. This includes works to the existing kitchen western wing to improve the relationship of the western wing with the main wing, gardens and forecourt. Introduction of renewable energy source. Improvement of the approach to the house by reducing the area of gravelled surface, reintroduction of the historic turning circle and landscaping.
Mr and Mrs Lees can have a two-storey side extension at Fair Oak, Swanmore Road in Swanmore.
Giles Whitefield can have a single storey rear extension at 14 Leacock Close.
In Wickham, Mr and Mrs Harding had an application permitted for the demolition of an existing double garage and the construction of a replacement garage/gym with hobby room above and covered car port; replacement roof, windows/doors to the existing conservatory to dwelling. This is at Cold Harbour Farm, Titchfield Lane.
In Winchester, Mr Lewnes had a retrospective planning application permitted for minor internal alterations and the addition of a glazed roof extension within the lightwell, at 4 Gar Street.
Mr and Mrs King can have a double hip to gable and rear dormer loft conversion, design includes to raise the ridge by 500mm with gables to be rendered. Loft will include two en-suite bedrooms.
Existing bedroom four will become study. This is at 38 Milverton Road
Thomas Carter's application was permitted for a two-storey extension to rear of property and rearrangement of existing interior spaces. Also, creation of ground floor veranda with access to main living spaces. This is at Chalkpit, Cottage Farm.
Dr Andrew Shire had an application permitted for solar panels at Beech House, 40 Christchurch Road.
