A SECTION of the A27 in Romsey was closed overnight as fire crews 'managed an incident'.
The A27 Luzborough Lane was closed in both directions between the junctions for Premier Way and A3057.
Hampshire County Council first reported the closure at 12.14am on Saturday, December 16.
It said: "Road closure in Romsey A27 Luzborough Lane closed in both directions this evening between the junctions for Premier Way and A3057 while fire crews manage an incident. Road expected to reopen by 9am tomorrow (Sat)."
The council's traffic service Romanse has now said that the road is open.

The closure affected an approximately one-mile section of road, blocking traffic in both directions between the Ashfield Roundabout and Luzborough House Roundabout.
A spokesperson for Hampshire police said no information could be found in the agency's logs regarding the incident. Hampshire fire service had not yet responded to enquiries as of writing.
