A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of shoplifting, after trying to make his escape at Romsey Railway Station.
Test Valley Police officers arrested the 35-year-old, from Southampton, on Thursday, December 14 and have since recovered and returned all the items to Fat Face and Boots in Romsey town centre.
The man had taken items from several shops and tried to escape officers at Romsey Railway Station.
He has been released on conditional bail until March 14 while enquiries continue.
