A MAJOR road on the outskirts of Winchester has reopened following the removal of a fallen tree.
As previously reported, a tree fell on the B3335 at the junction of Five Bridges Road and St Cross Road.
Hampshire County Council's traffic monitoring system Romanse reported heavy delays, with Stagecoach announcing cancellations to several services.

A post on the Winchester Police Facebook page announced that the tree has been removed and the road reopened.
The post said: "UPDATE - St Cross Road now re-opened after the tree was removed.
"Thanks for your patience"
