A FALLEN tree is causing delays to a major road on the outskirts of Winchester.
Police are currently at the scene where a tree is blocking the road at the junction of Five Bridges Road and St Cross Road.
Hampshire County Council's traffic monitoring system Romanse is reporting heavy delays.

A post on Hampshire Constabulary's Facebook page said: “For people in the Winchester area please be advised that we are currently dealing with a tree fully blocking the road at the junction of Five Bridges Road and St Cross Road. Please avoid this area if you can and if stuck in traffic already we will attempt to get you moving asap.”
Hampshire Police has been contacted for more details.
