A NEW cafe has opened at Ganger Farm Sports Park in Romsey.
Charlie’s Cafe Romsey is in the lounge area of the sport facility.
Charlie Kalley, who runs the cafe, has a range of experience in the catering industry, as well as managing sites such as the Adesso Coffee and Panini Bar at Eastleigh train station, and food shacks at Eastleigh Football Stadium on match days.
The cafe will offer a range of hot and cold food, from breakfast baps, paninis, sandwiches, burgers and fries, along with a range of drinks, including barista coffee and fresh milkshakes. It will also provide catering for birthday parties and events.

Charlie said: “I am pleased to be given the opportunity to set up the cafe at Ganger Farm Sports Park, it is a fantastic new facility with plenty of space for people to relax and enjoy a coffee and some food with some great views of the pitches for spectators.
"We opened in mid-November, and it has already proved to be popular with players, spectators, friends and families. ”
Test Valley Borough Council's community and leisure portfolio holder Cllr Terese Swain said: “This is a wonderful addition to the facilities offered at Ganger Farm Sports Park, and great for the local community, visiting teams and spectators.”
The site had been selling more than 700 items from vending machines on average each month. The cafe will be working with the management team at Ganger Farm Sports Park to monitor and adapt its catering offering to their customers, in line with potential events and meetings. The current opening hours are Monday to Friday 3pm to 9pm and weekends 8am to 4pm.
