CRIME reported in Winchester has decreased by over 100 reports, according to the latest police data.
In October 2023, the most recent month available, 658 crimes were reported across the district, which is down from 762 crimes the previous month, according to data.police.uk.
The most common category was violence and sexual offences, with 228 offences, which is down from 295 reports in September.
Anti-social behaviour offences were the joint second-most common category, with 76 reports during the month, alongside 76 public order offences.
