NEW owners are in place at a village pub near Romsey.
The Dog and Crook in Braishfield has been taken over by Babbu Gill and Vikram Gupta.
They have revealed plans for decorative enhancements within the pub, looking to mix their own Indian cultural background with the traditional English pub in Braishfield Road.
The duo said: "We are feeling great! All the locals have been very friendly, helping and welcoming".
They are looking to revive community events in the pub. These would include quiz nights, music events and a range of entertainment for their regulars.

The pair also said that they are "looking forward to introducing a fusion of British pub traditions and authentic Indian flavours".
The pub's menu will also take on a different look. The owners say that the menu "promises a delightful blend of classic pub food alongside carefully selected traditional Indian side dishes".
The pub will also be available to host small parties for up to 60-70 people.
