A WINCHESTER man has been re-sentenced for driving without a licence due to a “change of circumstances”.

Ryan Craig-Douglas, of Firmstone Road, Winnall, has been fined £120 for driving along the A3, in Liss, near Petersfield while disqualified from or obtaining a licence two years ago.

On October 26, Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court deemed detention had already been served based on the amount of time the 36-year-old had already spent in custody.

The original community order made by Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court in January of last year was revoked on the grounds that it had become unworkable.
