Thank you Mary Harrison for acknowledging the lighted candle display at the Station Approach Poppy Memorial.
The candles are some of the hundred made in 2018 for the centenary of Armistice Day and now form part of the annual commemoration. They were made by local people in a workshop led by Caroline Dear who carved the memorial.
This year the wreath laying was led by our local MP, Caroline Nokes with others representing local voluntary groups.
