SOUTHERN Voices is returning for its annual Christmas concert at St Cross Chapel in Winchester.
This year, the concert will be held on Saturday, December 16 at 7.30pm.
As always, the choir will sing carols old and new for choir and audience and present a package of Christmas delights.
This will include O magnum mysterium Victoria, Three Carol-Anthems Howells, and work by John Rutter.
The choir will also sing O nata lux, a brand-new carol composed by former Hampshire resident Jamie W. Hall, whose #ChoirsAgainstCancer project has been raising funds for MacMillan Cancer Support since 2016.

The carol is described as being about light shining in the darkness for people who are experiencing cancer.
The retiring collection will be for Jamie’s fund supporting MacMillan, which can be found at crowdfunder.co.uk/p/choirsagainstcancer.
Tickets are currently on sale, and cost £18, with tickets for people aged 21 and under being £1. They can be purchased by visiting the Southern Voices website or by calling 0333 666 3366 with booking fees applying.
Tickets will also be available at the door, but early booking is advisable.
