Winchester's MP recently visited a new state of the art manufacturing facility in Winnall.

Steve Brine was at the inauguration ceremony of timber staircase manufacturer Multi-Turn's brand new facility on the Moorside industrial estate on Monday, November 6.

Formerly located in a factory in Twyford, the industry-leading staircase manufacturer has made the move to the new base, ushering in a new era of technical innovation and expansion for the well-established family business.

The Winchester factory is strategically located alongside the M3 motorway and houses the latest manufacturing technology, embracing automation and efficiency, enabling the business to significantly increase its production capacity to accommodate demand.

Multi-Turn already employs 46 people from the local community and is actively recruiting as the company positions itself for the next phase in its development.

Mr Brine said: “Multi-Turn is clearly a strong family business creating skilled local jobs to boost our local economy. I was interested to see some of the innovation and technology they’re using to keep them as leaders in the industry. They are sure to be a very welcome addition to the ever-impressive range of businesses, including a number of manufacturing companies, on the Moorside estate in Winnall.”
