A POP-UP kitchen serving food from Pakistan has been getting rave reviews.
Saira Ahmed, originally from Punjab, Pakistan, now lives in Winchester and teaches Pakistani cooking and operates an outside catering company.
Saira’s Kitchen, at The Bridge Patisserie, has been serving dishes such as fish pakoras, daal makhani and lamb kebabs.

One review of the experience said: “We were trying to tell our children which dish was our favourite, but we couldn’t decide as we loved them all and they all complimented each other so well.”
Another said: "Saira's pop-up kitchen is an experience that true food lovers would revel in. From the aromatic biryani to the spice-infused sun-dried pomegranate chutney. The confluence of beef malai handi and the charred vine tomatoes smothered in chilled Greek yoghurt was sublime. This food lover can't wait for the next taste explosion to land in Winchester, a city renowned for its culinary diversity."
The next pop-ups are due to be held on December 2, 9 and 16.
