A WOMAN was arrested in Romsey for stealing 'fresh produce'.
Romsey Police reported chasing the woman, 35, after a number of shoplifting offences in the town centre.
In a Facebook post on Test Valley Cops, it said: “Officers from Romsey NPT have tonight (November 21) arrested a 35 year old female for a number of shoplifting offences in Romsey town.
“Whilst on patrol in Romsey Town Centre, PCSO #18150 and PCSO #18319 came across a female who was being chased by staff from a local shop. Our officers detained the female and her accomplice.

“A search was conducted and over £130 worth of fresh produce was recovered and the 35 year old female was subsequently arrested. She is currently in custody awaiting her time in court.
“The female's accomplice was dealt with via a community resolution with conditions to stay away from stores in Romsey.
“We will continue this robust action to deter offenders from our lovely quaint town!
