Hundreds gathered inside Winchester Cathedral in reflection and prayer for the people in Israel and Gaza.
On Sunday, November 19, the Cathedral invited members of the public inside for a moment of quiet and sanctuary.
All ages attended the Vigil of Light, including young children with their families, and students from local universities and colleges.
A Cathedral spokesperson said: "The cathedral was adorned with candles, which were placed around a dove in front of the altar, by visitors as a symbol of hope and peace.
"Thank you to everyone who came.
"We continue to pray for Israel and Gaza."
