A HAMPSHIRE rugby club is looking forward to its Burns Night celebrations. 

Romsey Rugby Club is planning a Burns Night dinner and ceilidh for Friday, January 26.

It promises to be an evening of camaraderie, cultural celebration, and lively entertainment.

The bar opens at 6pm, with the piping in the haggis, chairman's welcome, toasts and addresses at 7pm.

There will also be a three-course meal, Burns poetry recitals, a ceilidh and dance tuition.

The winners of an online raffle will be announced at 9.15pm.

Sponsors of the event are Parker Bullen, and Anchor Maintenance.
