A WEEKEND of food, entertainment, and live music will be returning to North Walls recreation ground next year.
Event organisers have announced that the Ibiza Orchestra Experience and the Sausage and Cider Festival will be coming back to Winchester on Friday, August 16 and Saturday, August 17 respectively.
The Ibiza Orchestra Experience will be showcasing its brand-new Ibiza Sunsets Tour. Along with several support acts, the orchestra will perform on a large outdoor stage, aiming to create a festival environment.

Attractions confirmed for the tour include a silent disco, stilt walkers, fire breathers, a laser show, pyrotechnics, a festival market and more.
Tom Cullen, marketing manager for the Ibiza Orchestra Experiecne, said: “We are excited to bring the Ibiza Orchestra Experience back to Winchester, to share their unique take on some of the best music that Ibiza has to offer following a great year last year. We hope everyone enjoys some incredible support acts, as well as the lively atmosphere.”
The Ibiza Orchestra Experience run from 6pm to 11pm on Friday, August 16.
It will be followed the next day by the Sausage and Cider Festival.
The festival will feature an array of live entertainment with tribute acts for Stereophonics, the Arctic Monkeys, ABBA, Robbie Williams and Take That already confirmed.
Returning alongside the musical acts will be the festival market, on-stage sausage eating contests and 6-round chilli eating competitions. The silent disco will also be returning.
This year on the children’s stage, customers can expect a children’s disco, face painting, live entertainers, and character dress up.

Lee Fudge, marketing manager for the Sausage and Cider Festival, said: “Sausage and Cider Festival outdoors is a feel-good event with great music, a huge variety of cider flavours and great independent food operators. We are excited to host our outside event in Winchester again in 2024.”
The festival will run at the North Walls recreation ground from 2pm to 11pm on Saturday, August 17.
Tickets for both events will become available on Friday, November 24. More information can be found on the events websites.
