Plans moving Winchester's A and E demonstrates the seemingly out of touch posture of the many NHS executives. (Chronicle, Thursday, November 9).
Basingstoke is challenging to reach, especially in traffic. Winchester's A and E covers the city and further afield. Basingstoke needs its own A and E.
What of A and E's excellent medics in Winchester? Would they be expected to relocate?
This plan has emerged a number of times and needs to be dropped.
