A ROMSEY man has been fined for failing to stop after a road accident.
Neil Taylor, of Halden Close, pleaded guilty to having failed to stop on Abbotswood Common Road following a crash with another motorist on July 30.
Southampton Magistrates Court heard that the incident had aggravated a back injury of the other driver and caused minor cosmetic damage to their vehicle.
Taylor, 43, has been fined £395 and was ordered to pay a surcharge of £158 and £85 costs.
The total amount of £638 must be paid by December 12. Five points have also been added to Taylor's licence.
