A TEENAGER was arrested after stealing an e-bike that was listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace.
Police received a report of a robbery in Kings Worthy on Sunday, November 12.
A spokesman said: “The victim, a man in his 20s, had listed an e-bike for sale on Facebook Marketplace, and after someone expressed interest, a meeting was arranged in Kings Worthy.

“However, the man reported that when he met the potential buyer, the suspect threatened him and made off with the e-bike without paying.
“Following various enquiries, on Monday, November 13 officers arrested a 17-year-old boy from the Winchester area on suspicion of robbery and possession of a Class B drug. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
“Officers have located the e-bike and returned it to its owner.”
