TRAFFIC is building on a major road near Winchester after a vehicle broke down this morning.
The southbound A34 is affected between South Wonston northwards to the Sutton Scotney Services after the incident at around 7am.
The two-lane carriageway is reduced to one lane at the busiest time of day.
The tailbacks are approaching the Bullington Cross interchange with the A303 which will add to the congestion.
On the plus side the Winnall roundabout will currently be moving more smoothly with reduced traffic from the A34.
