The chairman of a Hampshire camera club was recently commended in the national Landscape Photographer of the Year competition.
Stuart Bennett, chairman of Viewfinders of Romsey Camera Club, earned the commendation for Lepe Lightning.
This is a prestigious national competition and Stuart’s commendation is a great achievement.
The image was taken at Lepe, looking across the Solent to the Isle of Wight during a thunderstorm at night.
An exhibition of Landscape Photographer of the Year images will be touring the country between the end of November and May.
