Two applications were refused by Winchester City Council planning officers this week.

An application without a name, in Curdridge, was refused for seven affordable homes with private amenity space, off-road parking and associated works. This was at the land opposite Lockhams Hill, Lockhams Road.

Another application was refused to change the use from equestrian and erection of three stables, manure bay, new access and associated works including hardstanding. This was at The Malms Farm, Shawford Road, Shawford.

All other applications were permitted. 

Arran Little can have a dropped kerb at the front of the property to create a parking space for an electric vehicle at 72 Lowden Close, Badger Farm. 

In Bishop's Waltham, Mr and Mrs Cameron had an application permitted to replace an existing conservatory with single storey rear extension. This is at Dalton's Cottage, Albany Road.

Chris Norman, in Curdridge, had an application permitted for an extension and refurbishment of an existing early 20th century, detached, four-bedroom dwelling with a detached double garage to include the demolition of existing extensions on all sides, the internal reconfiguration of the main dwelling, the addition of both single-storey extension and two-storey extensions, and the addition of an annexe to the existing double garage, at Jasmine Cottage, Hillside, Kitnocks Hill.

Mr and Mrs James can have a new access drive and closing up of existing drive entrance at Hiltonbury, Forest Road, Denmead.

In Durley, Simon Mintrum's application was permitted for a single storey rear extension; extend existing side extension; new roof tiles throughout, at Tanglefoot, Durley Street.

Mr Taylor's application for a single storey side and rear extension following demolition of conservatory at The Orchard, Manor Road, was permitted. 

An application c/o agent was permitted for a new 240v electricity supply cable to the side elevation of the property, entering through a 16mm hole to be drilled through the window frame. This is at Keepers, Totford Hill, Northington.

Mr and Mrs Warwick, in Shedfield, had an application permitted for a single storey extension to main house and erection of detached garage with studio above, at Mariners Cottage, Turkey Island.

Laura Vale can have a single storey side extension; creating of addition parking to front garden, at 31 Horders Wood Gardens. 

Mr and Mrs Ockenden's application was permitted for the demolition of existing detached garage and erection of replacement car port at 8 Hall Court, Botley Road.

In Sparsholt, James Payne can have external alterations, including replacement roof sheeting and replacement timber cladding, to facilitate change of use from milking parlour to teaching facility. This is at Sparsholt College, Westley Lane.

Richard Paine's application was permitted for improved gated access at Paines Construction Limited, Fontley Road.

In Winchester, William Brook-Hart can have a domestic 14kW air source heat pump in driveway of 147 Greenhill Road. 

An application submitted by Wellbeing Pharmacy Head Office was permitted for non-illuminated set of aluminium letters 'Wellbeing Pharmacy' on brass locators onto existing timber fascia. This is at 155 High Street. 

James Pang's application was permitted for a single storey extension to front of house. Part single storey and part 2 storey extension to side of house. New windows and sliding patio door within existing facades (existing windows retained where unaffected by extension works). Internal refurbishment to ground floor spaces and first floor bathroom. Landscaping works to front and rear gardens. This is at 80 Teg Down Meads. 

Keith Diamond had an application permitted for external repairs and redecoration to the windows and doors of both the front and rear elevations of the property, at 86 High Street. 

In Wonston, James Gray can have a new boundary wall at  Yew Tree Crate, Wonston Lane.

Mr and Mrs Coleman had an application permitted for a detached outbuilding at Lower Norton Farm House, Norton.
