A WINCHESTER woman has pleaded guilty to neglecting two horses.
Charlene Georgina Rudgley, of Elder Close, Badger Farm, is charged with causing 'unnecessary suffering' to the horses between July 28 and August 27 last year.
Rudgley, 39, initially pleaded not guilty but changed to guilty at West Hampshire Magistrates Court on Friday, November 3.

According to the court record, Rudgley caused suffering to a horse named Darcey in Littleton between August 6 and 22 last year. Also another horse named Biscuit in Littleton between July 28 and August 27 last year.
The charge reads: “Namely to investigate and address the causes of its underweight or poor bodily condition, and you knew or ought reasonably to have known that the failure would have that effect or be likely to do so.”
An application has also been made for four horses to be taken into the possession of the RSPCA.
The case has been adjourned to Monday, January 8 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared at West Hampshire Magistrates Court.
