Heavy rain did not ruin the mood at the 2023 Winchester Bonfire and Fireworks event.
The 65th Winchester Round Table Bonfire & Fireworks event was held at the North Walls Recreation Ground on Saturday, November 4.
From 3pm, visitors were encouraged to attend the Food Festival at the ground with vendors serving up hog roasts, donuts, pizza, burgers, and curries.

To continue the annual tradition, thousands gathered along The Broadway for the torchlit procession at 6pm.
It travelled along High Street and across Jewry Street before heading to the fireworks and bonfire display at North Walls Recreation ground.
The bonfire was lit at 7.15pm just before the heavens opened and those at the event were hit with heavy rain.

Rain continued to fall as the fireworks were lit just before 8pm, with onlookers watching under umbrellas and raincoat hoods.
After the event, organisers wrote on Facebook: "Winchester. What a night. You braved the rain. We are proud to have lit up the city for a 65th year. Together, we've raised THOUSANDS of pounds for local good causes."
The 2023 even raised funds to help a number of charities including Winchester Street Reach, Winchester Pregnancy, Nutshell Theatre, and Winchester Basics Bank.
