A ROMSEY man has been fined for fly tipping near Awbridge.
Walter Smith, of Mercer Way, was caught dumping 14 boxes of hand sanitiser on land around Lane Barn Farm, Old Salisbury Lane on April 21, a court heard. He pleaded guilty.
On October 27, Southampton Magistrates Court fined him £480, along with a £192 surcharge and £649.22 costs.
Smith has to pay the total amount of £1,321.22 by November 24.
