Jacob, 26, from Harestock, said: “It’s going to be such good fun. Children in Need helped me become who I am today, helping me out when I was very young. It’s the biggest charity out there and I have so much respect for Pudsey Bear.
“People can get involved by dressing up. It’s aimed at kids but adults can of course come too. We will be doing TikTok routines and other dances like the Macarena and YMCA.
“If people can’t make it, there will be a QR code on social media they can use to donate. It doesn’t matter if you are a superhero or not, it’s all for a great cause. Everyone loves Pudsey.”

Jacob and his team of five other volunteers have previously dressed up as Star Wars characters for Naomi House and pirates and magical characters for Red Nose Day.
The impersonator, who works as an activities assistant at Flowerdown Care Home in Harestock Road, has been fundraising as different characters for the past two years and last year raised more than £800 for Children in Need.
Jacob said: “I’m a very good people person and I like to be a part of what’s going on in the city. When I put my outfits on I can get the crowd going. It all started with my Elvis outfit.”
The event on Friday, November 17 is free to get involved with and there will be prizes for best dressed on the day.
