The winning pumpkin arrived on a truck and organisers had to build a contraption in order to remove it and move it to the weighing area.
Photographer Hayley Fitzhenry said: “Everyone was so astonished when it arrived in The Bugle Inn car park, we couldn’t believe what we were witnessing. The whole event was very successful and we can’t wait for next year's event.”
The event raised £1,643.73 for Twyford Playgroup. There was also a range of outside games, face painting, crafts and puddings for sale.
