New data from the food delivery service Deliveroo has revealed the top five dishes that are ordered the most by people in Winchester.
Deliveroo is celebrating its seventh year of operating in the Hampshire city and has shared some data based on what people order.
Friday at 7pm is the most popular time for Winchester locals to order on Deliveroo and when it comes to local favourites, Italian, Chinese and Japanese top the list of the most searched-for cuisines.
Deliveroo added: "Deliveroo can also reveal that the unpredictable summer weather impacts what residents have been eating with orders increasing of fried chicken, particularly chicken tenders, and sharing items such as loaded nachos when the sun is shining.
"However, when the skies are grey, and it rains, locals are split between ordering delicious burgers or Mexican burritos.
"The bad weather increased residents' cravings for spice, with orders of buffalo sauce and hot salsa doubling after heavy rainfall."
