WINCHESTER Flower Club raised £1,835 for Winchester Hospice at its second wreath-making workshop.
Bretheren’s Hall in St Cross was transformed with seasonal colours as participants were guided through how to make an autumnal wreath.
Winchester Hospice and the flower club, formerly known as the Winchester Floral Design Society, were delighted to team up again following the sell-out success of their first wreath workshop in the spring.
Rosalind Hall, chair of Winchester Flower Club, said: “The hall was full of seasonal colours as participants worked in the dappled light of the sun shining through the stained glass windows. Those taking part thoroughly enjoyed their morning of creativity and produced some stunning wreaths.”
Proceeds will help the hospice deliver palliative and end of life care to those with life-limiting illnesses.
