THE Friends of Romsey Abbey enjoyed their annual dinner at a town centre hotel.
They were joined by the abbey's vicar Rev Thomas Wharton at the White Horse Hotel on Tuesday, October 10.
A three-course dinner was served, followed by entertainment by Tim Rogerson who played the keyboard while Dick Hewett sang and led with a series of songs.

The Friends of Romsey Abbey support the church by enhancing the visitor experience, as well as running an events programme and those interested in joining can do so by picking up an invitation leaflet from the Abbey Church Rooms and by the history section in the library.
The form can also be found on the website romseyabbeyfriends.org/contact-us/.
The group also holds bi-monthly coffee mornings in the town hall. The next will be on Friday, November 17 from 10am to 11.30am.
