A MAN from a village near Alresford is awaiting sentence next month at crown court for making threats to kill a woman.
Michael Hill, 61, of Winchester Road, Four Marks, had denied the charge and also one of threatening to burn down a house with someone inside, both on March 26, a court heard.
But he was convicted of both charges at Aldershot Magistrates Court on Friday October 6.
District Judge Stephen Apted committed the case for sentence at Winchester Crown Court on Friday November 17 and remanded Hill on unconditional bail.
