Residents at a Compton care home recently enjoyed a 1950’s style party.
A local singer provided live entertainment and sang a number of the greatest 1950’s hits from classic rock tunes to rock and roll greats, at Shawford Springs care home on Otterbourne Road.

Clifford, head chef, also ensured a selection of themed savoury and sweet treats were available along with a selection of well-deserved drinks.
General manager Julie House said: “Our residents and guests had a wonderful day singing along and dancing with Sarah.
We do our best to provide a wide range of activities and entertainment at Shawford Springs as part of the lifestyle enrichment programme for residents, and this was one of our favourites.”
