WINCHESTER City Council has warned of short delays in the city centre due to an annual procession.
A sign has been erected on Broadway near Abbey Gardens informing motorists that delays may occur during the Law Sunday service on October 8.
Part of the Justice for All? programme being held by Wincester Cathedral in partnership with the University of Winchester, the service will begin with judges, barristers and councillors parading up Winchester High Street in their robes before concluding with a service at the Cathedral.
A council spokesperson confirmed that the procession will start at 10.40am at the Guildhall. There will be a small delay of 15 minutes allowing participants to walk up the Broadway and the High Street before making their way to the cathedral.
